In general
IES/FHE/LVSV staff will select the future participants according to the recommendations of people we know, the level of studies, the motivation and the comprehension to write the language in which the seminar will be held (English). About 40 students are selected for this seminar. The applicants will receive the answer mid of June as well as information about the seminar. About three weeks before the beginning of the seminar, the students, who have confirmed their attendance of the seminar, will receive a booklet to prepare the texts and articles which will be discussed during the week. The organization will cover most expenses (tuition, accommodation, food, and excursion bus) for this week.
The faculty has to make a selection among the great number of application forms it receives every year. The deadline for the application forms is June, 15th, 2009. Then, the Europe and Liberty selection committee members meet and choose the candidates from the applications received.
The deadline is extended until the 1st of July. Current applications however will already be processed.
